Maison Soléne is a Paris-based skincare atelier blending artisanal formulations with clinical science. Their products — rooted in minimalism, purity, and slow beauty — embody a philosophy of care that’s deeply human and refreshingly unhurried.
When Maison Soléne came to Mōra, they had a loyal following but lacked a visual identity that expressed their quiet sophistication. Their challenge was not recognition — it was resonance.
We were tasked to design a brand that would feel like a breath of stillness in a noisy world — where every detail, from the wordmark to the texture of the packaging, whispered calm confidence.
Visual direction
The visual language was inspired by light and stillness. We designed a custom logotype — a soft serif with delicate ligatures — to reflect craftsmanship and femininity. The supporting wordmark features letterforms spaced wide enough to breathe, evoking tranquility and openness.
Photography direction focuses on intimacy — skin close-ups, soft shadows, gentle movement. The imagery avoids perfection; it embraces texture and touch.
